Hello, I'm Michayla, the proud owner of Bison West! 

I embarked on the Bison West journey in early 2024, driven by a passion for bringing exquisite cowhide and leather products to your doorstep. Our home base is in the serene hamlet of Dewberry, nestled in the heart of Alberta, where we lovingly handle all your orders.

About Me: Initially a competitive ballet dancer, my heart was stolen by the enchanting world of horses at the age of 8. Balancing both for a while, my love for horses eventually led me to the purchase on my own! A wonderful woman taught me to ride, and my 4-H years were filled with incredible experiences. I later returned as a leader, cherishing every moment.

Today, I find joy in riding both English and Western disciplines. In July 2022, I married my best friend, Brett. Our little family has expanded to include a beautiful daughter and a handsome little boy, residing on a farm near Dewberry. Brett is my rock, and Bison West wouldn't be where it is without his unwavering support.

Meet Our Extended Family: Our farm is a lively mix of 3 dogs, 2 horses, a mini donkey, 8 sheep and 10 ducks – a dynamic crew always on the lookout for new additions!
